“Creativity is our one ubiquitous commonality so perhaps that is where all constructive communication should begin.”
― Ken Poirot
Creative Thinking is defined as the A way of looking at problems or situations from a fresh perspective that suggests unorthodox solutions (which may look unsettling at first). Creative thinking can be stimulated both by an unstructured process such as brainstorming, and by a structured process such as lateral thinking.
Renowned author Bryan Tracy says the human mind has the potential to be like an ocean that has never been fully explored, a new idea capable of completely changing your life. Ideas are actually the basis of the future The best ideas are the guarantee of your best future.
Positive changes can occur in the surrounding environment. Almighty God has incorporated creative thinking into human nature. That is why man can create whatever he thinks and understands. This is the reason why man today has so many knowledge functions that were only limited to his mind. Wearing them turned into reality.
See the airplane, the bulb telephone, the power behind them all was a creative thought that transformed those dreams into reality. There is nothing in the world that a human mind can understand, but can’t be created. You can achieve anything with realistic approach in the world with your hard work and effort.
The challenges we currently face is without precedent. More people live on this planet now than at any other time in history. Technology is advancing at a headlong rate of speed. It’s transforming how people work, think, and connect. It’s transforming our cultural values. We’re going to need every ounce of ingenuity, imagination, and creativity to confront these problems. So being creative is essential to us; it’s essential for our economy. At the moment, instead of promoting creativity, I think we’re systematically educating it out of our kids.

1. Raise the quality of your Goals
Have goals in your mind (as we discussed earlier) they will introduce you to new thoughts and new ideas. Whatever you want to achieve in life, actually a dream is required to push you forward. You can make your goals and work hard to make these goals a reality by keeping that goal in mind. To try to make dreams come true and make them a reality, think about the coming years of your life. Where do you want to see yourself five years later? Who will be with you in this success? How successful will you be after five years or ten years? Create your goals based on your current situation, develop the ability to solve the problems you face, and succeed in your goal. Knowing that the boundaries are only in your mind whatever you want to achieve in the world. You just have to work as hard for your goals, and I know that you are capable of turning your dream into a reality.
By establishing a clear relationship between your desired goals and ideas, you can be creative with all your activities. You can read and brainstorm your goals and dreams around them by reading them again and again. Seeing your goals daily will increase your self-esteem. Great passion is also needed. Emotions are actually the basis of our goals. The more you are passionate about achieving any goal, the sooner it will become a reality. Your goals only increase your mental output and stimulate your mind. When you are happy to achieve your goal, you become more diligent and responsible in your own self.
The pressures of difficulties and problems give man the ability to deal with problems. These are the issues that give people the courage to face them. Indeed, as you deal with your problems, you become stronger. Some people do not understand their problems when they are the most important part of their life which teaches them different lessons so instead of complaining about their problems and problems, you have to learn from problems instead of getting lean before them.
Write down what you want to achieve in your life on a paper and make a list of your problems. Ask yourself what the problem you are facing and what is the possible solution. You need to have the necessary information about your problem to resolve it. As the doctor diagnoses the patient correctly, it means that half of the treatment is done. Unless you know your disease, you will not be able to cure yourself better.
Creative thinking is a gift, but you can also build that ability within yourself. The following qualities are found in creative thinkers. If you create some of them yourself, you too can become wise.
2. Ask a question
Asking questions is 50% of total knowledge. Questions play an important role for creative thinking. It was the question of why apple fell on me that made Newton a scientist. You know what it takes to become a scientist? How special is the scientist curious? Why not? Such questions force you to think, so ask yourself – and the people –
3. Acknowledge your mistakes
If you do something unique, then of course you will also make mistakes. Mistakes and failures are the best teacher. After getting failure, acknowledge it. Be Humble Think again and try again. Change your ideas and re-apply. The bulb came into existence after 10,000 Edison’s experiments. So, don’t be disappointed with the errors, but find another way to do it. Always keep an eye on the goals so you know what you need. So, you can strive to achieve it. Creative people have goals they are successful at and are familiar with the skills of success. Your full focus makes you more creative. So, work with your goals in mind.
Use Six thinking Hats Technique:
Six thinking Hats technique by Edward De Bono is one of most powerful techniques in building creative thinking, I wish I could add all details about this technique but it could get much lengthy.
You Can learn this Six thinking Hats by having a book of Edward De Bono. I assure you that it will defiantly help you in being more creative & having a solution-oriented Problem. This popular technique is now used by businesses all over the world. They involve putting on a selection of metaphorical hats when it comes to making a decision. Each hat represents a different direction of thinking.
White Hat – Facts
Red Hat – Emotions
Black Hat – Judgement, Caution
Yellow Hat – Logic
Green Hat – Creativity
Blue Hat – Control
Random Word Generation
I love this technique. Simply pick two random words and try and tie your content to it in the most imaginative way possible. Simple as that. The real fun part is how you choose to come up with the words. You could use an online generator; you could flick through a dictionary; or you could write words on a bunch of plastic balls, throw them into the air, and then choose the words on the first two balls you catch. Have fun.
4 Stages of Creative Thinking
According to the book The Art of Thought (1926) by Graham Wallas, there are four stages to creative thinking.
Preparation: This is where you define the problem you want to solve or the need. Then you start gathering as much knowledge about the subject as you can.
Incubation: In this stage, you’ll be processing the information you have gathered. Instead of consciously trying to solve the problem, you’ll let your mind wander on its own, working its way through the subject. This will lead to more creativity. Basically, your unconscious mind will be at work here.
Illumination: This is the “Eureka” moment that really occurs when you are not actively thinking of a creative solution. You could be literally having a shower when all of a sudden you have found the answer you’ve been looking for.
Verification: Now it’s time to see if your idea will really work out or not. In this last stage of the creative thinking process, you need to test your idea. Use your critical thinking skills to fine-tune your idea and ready it to reach the audience.
